Last weekend I went to Wales to watch the final stage of the World Rally Championship. It had never watched WRC live and was very much looking froward to it.
Not having much time in the week prior to the event meant that I hadn’t planned the weekend very well. And so the first day I spent in Chirk Castle which turned out to be a bit of a disaster. Way too many people and just not the way I had imagined WRC to look like.
Second day however, was a lot more enjoyable, mainly due to 3 local guys (thanks!) who showed us the way into the Clocaenog forest. And that was more like it! Right in the centre of action with cars racing past right next to us. First car covered us in mud, top to bottom! Luckily, the camera wasn’t damaged and I was able to take some shots during the day
Rye House Rockets vs Ipswich Witches 47:43
These guys don’t know fear! up to 70mph and the bikes have no brakes!
Really enjoyable to watch
